Baseus Security N1 Outdoor Add-on Camera 2K (Wireless, 2-Cam Kit Expansion)

Added this third camera to my N1 base station and it paired in under two minutes. The 2K footage is noticeably sharper than my old camera — I can read license plates of cars parked at the curb now. Night vision picks up the whole driveway clearly. Battery has held about six weeks per charge with moderate motion activity.

Popped it out of the box, synced to the base, mounted it on the garage. Done in 10 minutes.

Image quality at 2K is genuinely impressive for a wireless cam and the weatherproofing survived a stormy week. The app's notification settings took me a few tries to dial in so I wasn't getting alerts for every squirrel. Once configured, it's been rock solid.

My original two-cam setup left the side gate uncovered. This add-on was cheaper than buying a whole new kit and works exactly like the others. Smart detection rarely false alerts. Very happy.

The camera itself is good — clear video, easy install. But pointed at my street it wakes up for passing cars constantly and battery life is closer to four weeks than the two months advertised. Repositioning to a lower-traffic angle helped. Fair for the price.

I'm 68 and not great with technology, but my son helped me mount it and it connected right away. I can see who's at the shed from my tablet in the kitchen. Pictures are clear even at night. Makes me feel much safer living alone.

Pairing worked initially but the camera dropped offline two or three times a week, requiring a manual re-sync. Firmware update seemed to improve it slightly but it still hiccups. Video quality when it IS connected is excellent, which makes the connection issues more frustrating. Maybe range from my base station is the issue — it's about 40 feet with two walls.

No complaints really. Pairs instantly, footage is sharp, app is fine. Wish it came with a bit more mounting hardware options but that's minor.

Had a subscription-based cam before and got tired of paying monthly. This one stores locally through the N1 base and the picture is honestly clearer. Free looks better than paid, imagine that.

Survived snow, ice, and -10°F nights without a single issue. Battery charging slows in the cold as expected but it kept recording. Build quality feels way above the price point.
